DENNIS N. BUNKER, III - PRINCIPAL
Mr. Bunker, a Salisbury, North Carolina native, began his real estate career in 1981 and established Bunker Land Group, LLC in 1994. His educational background consists of a B.A. in Economics from UNC Charlotte (’81). Additionally, Mr. Bunker has a M.S. in Real Estate Development from the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Columbia University in New York (’90). Mr. Bunker has attained the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Member Appraisal Institute (MAI) designations. He began his career in real estate by providing general brokerage services to clients in Salisbury. In 1984 he was cofounder of a real estate development, investment and construction company. During this time he was responsible for the business development of clients seeking land and buildings for commercial and residential uses. He also established the company’s real estate investment portfolio. Mr. Bunker sold his interest in 1989 to attend graduate school.

Since 1991, he has actively engaged in brokerage, consulting, and development services for clients and partners pertaining to acquisitions and dispositions of land and other types of commercial real estate. The scope of his site selection assignments has included site selection services, buyer/tenant representation, financial feasibility analysis, coordination with legal and tax counsel, and highest and best use studies for real estate investors, developers, and financial clients. Property types include retail, multi-family, residential subdivisions, office and industrial properties.

Mr. Bunker has served on the original board of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and served several years on the North Carolina CCIM Board. He is a North and South Carolina licensed real estate broker, a North Carolina licensed commercial real estate appraiser, and a member of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Bunker is a past President of the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association. He currently serves on the Foundation Board for the University and the Campus Master Plan 2009 Steering Committee.

BENJAMIN R. BALDWIN - PARTNER
A Charlotte native, Mr. Baldwin joined Bunker Land Group in 2000. His educational background consists of a B.A. in Political Science from UNC Chapel Hill (’95) and a M.A. in Geography/Urban Planning from UNC Charlotte (’01). Mr. Baldwin’s graduate studies focused on the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for land use planning and site selection. Extensive coursework in GIS, including Site Feasibility, Population Analysis, Environmental Planning, and Economic Development Policy provided significant experience in the applied use of GIS technology. Working for UNC Charlotte’s Urban Institute, Mr. Baldwin acquired experience in land use planning, demographic analysis, and developing customized GIS applications.

Presently, Mr. Baldwin is actively engaged in buyer/seller representation involving land acquisition/disposition and leads the company’s efforts to utilize GIS technology in the site selection process. He is a North and South Carolina licensed real estate broker. He recently obtained the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Additionally, he is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the development committee of the Catawba Lands Conservancy.

KATHRYN M. BUNKER - PARTNER
With 16 years of industry experience, Ms. Bunker joined Bunker Land Group in January 2007 as a vital member of the company’s site selection and development team. She was previously an investment partner at Allegiance Realty Corporation, a private real estate investment company in Charlotte. There, Kathryn was involved with the acquisition of multi-tenant office and hotel deals in the $6,000,000 to $31,000,000 range. She joined Allegiance in May 2003 and has been an investor with Allegiance for the past nine years. Prior to joining Allegiance she was a commercial real estate appraiser for 13 years at T.B. Harris, Jr. & Associates in Charlotte. During that time Kathryn performed appraisals for developers, area lending institutions and pension funds on a variety of property types, including multi-tenant office, industrial, and retail properties, as well as commercial, single and multifamily land.

Kathryn has served as Chairman of the Metrolina Subchapter of the North Carolina Appraisal Institute, and is also a member of CREW Charlotte (Commercial Real Estate Women) where she served as President in 1996-1997. Along with her North Carolina Real Estate license, Ms. Bunker maintains her North Carolina State certified appraiser status and was awarded the MAI designation by the Appraisal Institute in 2004. Kathryn attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

KIM J. GUMP- EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Ms. Gump, a native of Sharon, Pennsylvania, joined Bunker Land Group in April 2007. In 1998, Ms. Gump received an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science and Information Processing from the Business Institute of Pennsylvania. Ms. Gump was a secretary for Principal Financial Group being responsible for all marketing and sales material for eight agents. In 1992, she and her husband, John, established PLS Builders, a custom home building company. For 14 years, Ms. Gump was the Office Manager responsible for all aspects of residential construction and office management. Ms. Gump and her husband moved to Charlotte in March 2006. Ms. Gump is a Notary Public for the county of Mecklenburg.
