DENNIS
N. BUNKER, III - PRINCIPAL
Mr. Bunker, a Salisbury, North Carolina native, began his real estate
career in 1981 and established Bunker Land Group, LLC in 1994. His
educational background consists of a B.A. in Economics from UNC
Charlotte (’81). Additionally, Mr. Bunker has a M.S. in Real
Estate Development from the School of Architecture, Planning and
Preservation, Columbia University in New York (’90). Mr. Bunker
has attained the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member
(CCIM) and Member Appraisal Institute (MAI) designations. He began
his career in real estate by providing general brokerage services
to clients in Salisbury. In 1984 he was cofounder of a real estate
development, investment and construction company. During this time
he was responsible for the business development of clients seeking
land and buildings for commercial and residential uses. He also
established the company’s real estate investment portfolio.
Mr. Bunker sold his interest in 1989 to attend graduate school.
Since 1991, he has actively engaged in brokerage, consulting, and
development services for clients and partners pertaining to acquisitions
and dispositions of land and other types of commercial real estate.
The scope of his site selection assignments has included site selection
services, buyer/tenant representation, financial feasibility analysis,
coordination with legal and tax counsel, and highest and best use
studies for real estate investors, developers, and financial clients.
Property types include retail, multi-family, residential subdivisions,
office and industrial properties.
Mr. Bunker has served on the original board of the Charlotte Region
Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and served several years on
the North Carolina CCIM Board. He is a North and South Carolina
licensed real estate broker, a North Carolina licensed commercial
real estate appraiser, and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Bunker is a past President of the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association.
He currently serves on the Foundation Board for the University and
the Campus Master Plan 2009 Steering Committee. |
